Visiprise Announces Users Group Conference - 'Achieving Manufacturing Excellence With the Power of Knowledge'

This conference is designed to foster new ideas and best practices for manufacturers to improve visibility and manufacturing operations throughout their enterprise

ATLANTA -- April 27, 2004 -- Visiprise, Inc., the recognized leader in manufacturing execution systems for the electronics, aerospace and defense, and automotive industries, today announced that its worldwide user community will assemble at the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Florida May 2-6, 2004 for an annual conference, "Achieving Manufacturing Excellence With The Power Of Knowledge."

Formed in 1998 to support customers with Visiprise solutions, the Users Group is an independent, non-profit organization that works closely with Visiprise to establish and define the solution's strategic roadmap.

Key highlights of the conference include a keynote presentation from noted industry analyst, Bob Parker from AMR Research. He will address the significant subject of applying lean manufacturing concepts to the shop floor. There will be nearly 50 sessions dedicated to discrete manufacturing and the use of the Visiprise solutions. More than 35 of those will be successful case studies presented by customers like Textron, Hitachi Computer Products (America), Celestica, and Philips Lighting to name a few.
