NuTech Solutions to Hold 'Technical Summit' with George Mason University's Krasnow Institute
Summit Coincides with Visit by NuTech Solutions Board Member Lech Walesa
WASHINGTON & CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- June 16, 2003 -- NuTech Solutions, Inc., a premier provider of advanced predictive analytics and profit optimization
software products for Global 1000 companies, announced today that its executives and scientists will participate in a technical summit with George
Mason University's Krasnow Institute on June 17, 2003. Highlighting the event will be the presence of Lech Walesa, former president of Poland, who
is a NuTech Solutions board member.
The Krasnow Institute seeks to expand understanding of mind, brain and intelligence by encouraging research at the intersection of the separate
fields of cognitive psychology, neurobiology and the computer-driven study of artificial intelligence and complex adaptive systems. All of these
areas of interest come together under the general heading of cognition, the essence of the Institute's mission.
"The Krasnow Institute is a wonderful entity with which to explore the area where cognitive science and software converge," said Matthew
Michalewicz, CEO, NuTech Solutions. "Our software has the potential to help further the mission of the Institute, while their study of cognition
through artificial intelligence and adaptive systems can help to expand our knowledge base and perhaps lead us to new markets for existing and
future software solutions."
The summit falls on the heels of NuTech Solutions' annual board meeting, which takes place in the Washington D.C. area today. Lech Walesa,
a member of NuTech Solutions' board will be attending both the board meeting and the technical summit. Since joining NuTech's board, President
Walesa has taken a special interest in the application of advanced computational software to the solution of problems faced by
governments around the world.
"We at the Krasnow Institute are excited about the technical summit, look forward to a healthy exchange and are honored that NuTech Solutions'
board member Lech Walesa will be at the Institute," said Kenneth De Jong, Department of Computer Science, George Mason University.

About The Krasnow Institute
