Visiprise to Present Its Vision for 'Manufacturing Execution Systems on the Shop Floor' at the EDS PLM Solutions E-Factory Symposium June 25-26th 2003

ALPHARETTA, Ga. -- June 23, 2003 -- Visiprise, the recognized leader in manufacturing execution systems, announced today that it will present its vision of the new role for manufacturing execution systems (MES) at the 2003 E-factory Symposium hosted by EDS PLM Solutions, June 25-26, 2003.

EDS PLM Solutions introduces the concept of the E-factory at the two-day symposium that will cover how to reduce manufacturing launch time, how to improve manufacturing predictability and how to define and implement repeatable processes.

Fundamental manufacturing objectives never really change -- accelerated product delivery, cost efficiency and product quality are of ever increasing importance. At the 2003 E-factory Symposium, Visiprise will address how to fulfill the manufacturing planning and execution needs of discrete manufacturing companies in key industries including aerospace/defense, machinery, medical devices and high tech.
